Poppy
Generally, varieties that go by the name "poppy" indicate "Iceland poppies", which were discovered by an Arctic expedition team in Siberia in the 18th century.
As with red (common) poppies of the same Papaver genus, they feature petals that are like thin paper.

As the name implies, approximately 15 million poppies will bloom on this 500-meter elevation plateau. A blanket of brightly colored poppies matched with expansive blue skies overhead creates an absolutely dreamlike scene.
